Mission
As an industry leader in large scale fan solutions, MacroAir sought to build a platform in which suppliers could easily design, test, and order fans that fit their specific needs. The goal of this platform was to provide a seamless experience for users to design and order fans, while also providing a robust backend for MacroAir to manage their suppliers and orders.

Problem
Before our application, MacroAir had been leveraging multiple different platforms to manage inventories, customers, and sales. these included but were not limited to salesforce, hubspot, and acumatica. Because they their business workflow required a wide range of knowledge, onboarding and upkeep was no small task. Our goal was to consolidate these processes while improving on their existing site used by their dealers. Their old site was also beginning to look a bit dated in comparison to other contemporary websites.
Solution
These problems were addressed by creating a singular space where dealers and distributers could come to learn about the product they were selling, configure compatible parts together and sign and invoice an end user. One of the major tools we revamped was the AirViz tool which allows users to build out a 3D representation of where they would like to place the fans, and then visualize the airflow with in that space.
Project management
At CKC, we recognize that every client has distinct needs, making a one-size-fits-all approach to project management inadequate. We understand that variations in project goals, team dynamics, and technological requirements demand tailored solutions. That's why, at the onset of each project, we prioritize a comprehensive consultation with you. This initial meeting is crucial for us to fully grasp your specific needs and expectations.

For MacroAir we adopted a loose agile framework where we had semi regular meetings to demo progress as the needs arose. similarly, as we needed clarifications or their were concerns by either party, we would have a quick meeting to discuss.

Tech
We leveraged Vue.js for the frontend, and Django for the backend. We also used 3js to build out the AirViz tool, due to its vast community support and packages availability and how closely it is built on webGL.
Docker
Docker is our preferred choice for containerization. It's an open-source containerization platform that enables developers to package applications into containers. Docker's intuitive design and user-friendly interface make it a clear favorite for our team to rapidly build and deploy applications.
